omg tell me about it. Photobucket ruined that place. I used to be able to link out hi-res images and they got rid of that. I was paying for premium service to and had been for years.

As far as another image hosting site to upload and link out high quality images I am not sure. If anyone else knows that would be cool. Image shack seemed ok but messy when trying to organize stuff.
