here is a random thought/question that I've been wondering about for a long time: When a racing series just starts out is every driver that participates in that first season a rookie? Like for example when the camping world series started back in 95/96 was everyone a rookie that first year?

Always wondered that since I assume if it's a driver's first year in a racing series they are a rookie, or do certain things qualify them to not have to be a rookie?
